I’m not sure there was a clear cut mission in the beginning. James always had a passion for cars. Not the thrill of driving, but the deep curiosity about how they worked—the intricate mechanics that made them hum. For as long as he could remember, his dream was to open his own shop.

We spent a few years in Nashville, TN, building our life there, when James’ dad called with an idea. “We’ve lost a shop in town,” he said. “Maybe it’s time you came back.” It felt right. Like things were aligning in ways we couldn’t ignore. So, we packed up and headed home, and in June of 2009, Ride Rite was born.

In the beginning, we didn’t have a grand plan or a roadmap. The one thing we had was James’ exceptional talent for fixing cars, and we were banking everything on that. The rest, well, we learned as we went—sometimes the hard way. But the support from our community was unwavering. Their patience, kindness, and wisdom carried us through. It wasn’t just customers; it felt like an extended family rooting for us.

Over the years, we’ve also been blessed to add some truly fantastic employees to the Ride Rite family. We are so grateful for each and every one of them. Not only have they brought their skills and dedication to the shop, but we’ve also learned so much from them along the way. We’re constantly striving to be the kind of business that deserves their continued loyalty and hard work.

Through the ups and downs, we found our mission: honesty, transparency, and delivering top-notch quality. We want every customer to feel confident about the work we do. When they choose us, they’re trusting us with their hard-earned money, and we don’t take that lightly.

As long as the community continues to trust us, Ride Rite will be here—keeping cars running smoothly and relationships strong.
